Many Many things could of gone wrong to have the problem you experienced. Bent valves are usually the result of a close encounter of the worst kind with the valve and piston giving each other a little kiss. Causes typically include a broken timing chain or belt, weak or broken valve springs...

They do make 02 simulators that trick the computer. You would only want to use these on the downstream, not before the catalytic converter as those control your air/fuel mixture. Do a search. You can find all the information you will need under 02 sensor simulators or sims
Absolutely NOT....If anyone has added any additive to your G80 get that lube changed ASAP. You are not supposed to use any additives in a locker.
