Indeed I do.
It's the "fire and ice" one from here:
Stylin' Trucks.com
It's pretty cool. I first had the cheaper version (without the white reverse lights). It sucked - I had to send two back 'cause they were defective. Finally ponied up the extra $ for the fire & ice. Haven't looked...
You say so...
I've looked in local stores and online. No luck. No one I've seen makes 'em for the 07+ 'Hoes.
And yes, I paid the $32 (each) at my local dealer, since my 'Hoe's out of warranty.
He didn't have them in stock, or he couldn't order them?
The aftermarket hasn't caught up to GM's design change, so factory is the only option. My dealer had the fronts in stock, and had to order the read. In two days I'll have it.
I get sapped nearly every freakin' time I get out of a car.
As Mad Dawg said, that's the real danger when refuelling. Cell phones aren't any danger at all (unless your cell battery blows up!).
Any bets the original owner put "Tahoe" on it?
I regularly see a 'Kon around town that has a bowtie front license plate (the grille is debadged). I keep wanting to stop and ask them WTF?
It's designed to do that. When the temp is dropping, it will display "ICE" at 37 degrees.
If it's already at or below 37, then it assumes you know enough to be aware of the ice potential, so no warning.
It's only a warning of dropping temps into the freezing range.
Agreed on Invisible Glass + microfiber towels. It's awesome, and I've never been disappointed.
You might need to clean them twice the first time, but you'll be happy with the results.
Dude, you don't post some pics of it, and we'll have to come by and break into your truck to see it!
Seriously, congrats! It's cool to have everything working! :cool2:
+1
Mine was over the third row. Since it was under warranty, took it to the dealer. They said they removed one of those pieces. Haven't heard a sound since.
