Scary problem with my 5300K H13 Bi-Xenon kit

Thanks Getwired. Spoken like a true gentlemen. I'll let you know what I hear back from the factory rep. It'll be interesting to see what happens when I drive into warmer climates (this sunday) and use them then.

Perhaps you should talk to your congressman. Otherwise, thanks for the lesson in social responsibility.

Scary problem with my 5300K H13 Bi-Xenon kit

The stock lights on these trucks are pathetic compared to HIDs. And while it doesn't come with auto level, it can be adjusted easily to ensure this doesn't happen. I had mine installed by Goodyear.

Scary problem with my 5300K H13 Bi-Xenon kit

I'll check the grounding, but I'm betting the cold weather did something to cause this. I've never had a problem with them up until now. Thanks for the input. Danny says he's going to check with the manufacturer and will get back to me in a couple of days.

Scary problem with my 5300K H13 Bi-Xenon kit

Hi all, Few months ago I purchased and had professionally installed the 5300K McCulloch H13/9008 Bi-Xenon HID Kit from Ultrabrightlights.com. They've been working great until last night. My family and I are driving through rural Idaho (we're on a road trip) late last night. The outside...

    new member!

Very cool. Do you mind sharing what it costs (parts vs labor) to do something like this? My wife would never allow me to do this to her Denali (although it would be awfully funny to watch her attempting to climb in:daz: ), but I'm curious none-the-less.

Anbody have a nice DC to AC inverter

I'm looking for a small, compact DC to AC inverter I can throw in the front row storage bin and that will provide AC charge/power to low power devices such as cell phones, etc. Anybody have one that's small, quiet, and serves you well? Thanks

I believe the button that triggers the heated side mirrors is the same as the rear defrost button.

Anybody else having problems with their powerlift gate? We've had our new Denali 3 weeks now and its been it's going back to the dealership for a 2nd time. Problem is we'll power open the liftgate, start pulling something out of the back and suddenly it starts coming down all by itself. First...

Question for those with iPod Lockpick

Yea, I checked the harness first thing and it appears to be connected properly. Hopefully, some others on this forum have experience with the iPod product and can help me out. Another thing I don't understand is it gives me the option to search music based on Genre. But if I select say...

Question for those with iPod Lockpick

I installed my new CoastaleTech iPod Lockpick the other day. But it seems to be acting strange and I don't know if its me or the device. Here's the situation. I have an 07 Yukon XL Denali and setup the lockpick dip switch settings following the 29 BIT GMLAN Navigation Radio settings (per...

Various questions for Denali owners, especially Getwired

Getwired, et, al: For all you Denali owners out there, I'm looking for input on the following: 1) Nav-iPOD Lockpick: Does the Coastaltech device also get rid of pressing the "OK" button to use the NAV functions? If it does not, is there anything else out there that will do this? I...

    Superchips vs. Edge?

Getwired - So are you saying the +2.5MPG over stock you're seeing is translating into an average of 20.5MPG out of the 6.2L engine without towing anything? And is that with both the CAI and the Edge Evolution, or just the Edge installed? If so, that's incredible. Why doesn't GM program...
