Looking at GM parts direct....
It looks like the nets for this year's model come with some sort of plugs to hang it up...laying a net on the floor would be irritating. The new Tahoe sure has a lot of bells and whistles, but Chevy really missed some little things that some people consider...
I noticed yesterday that the assist steps that are on Escalades have a chrome strip border. I think this would be a nice accent for my white LTZ that I have replaced both bowties with chrome ones. Anyone know where you can get a chrome strip that would work? I assume any thin strip would...
I have a cargo net from a 2001 Tahoe that looks exactly like the cargo net on gmpartsdirect.com, but there are no hooks in the back to hook it to, am I missing something?
Can you get a cargo cover for the back for 2007 Tahoe? If so, where?
I actually like the little rubber strip down the middle...
It is the ONLY place on Tahoe where you can put something you may need while driving that doesn't require you to open something. I found a good use for the TINY storage space near the fog lamp button....since homelink won't work...
Mine only had two nuts...
and I would have had both off in about 20 seconds (first one came off in about 10 seconds)...but the 2nd one was put on backwards and stripped..it took me about an hour and PLENTY of scratches on my forearms and wrists fighting it off...what dumba$$ at Chevy put a nut...
I forgot about 'unlocking the GPS'....
Sorry, didn't mean to imply 'you' exactly...forgot about being able to unlock GPS, but you know as well as I do that a lot of guys will unlock the GPS so they can play DVD's on the front screen so they 'look cool'...I am also too old (and perhaps wise)...
Just curious..
as to why it is so important to have the DVD playing on their front screen? You can't watch it if you are driving and listening to a movie while the front seat passenger watches is annoying....be honest, it's just so you can be 'cool', right?
I have tried everything....
And nothing...instruction on mygmlink.com are actually different then the manual that came with my Tahoe. The gmlink manual says to put key in aux. position, push the two outer buttons for 1 to 2 seconds (when I do this, all three LED's turn solid). It then says to...
Page 345 says there should be a blinking read light on the stereo indicating the theft deterrent system. I don't see any blinking light, does anyone or is this just another mistake in the manual? Does the theft deterrent system for the stereo need to be activated or something?
THANKS!!!
I have my chrome replacement showing up tomorrow. I almost had the stock one off....removing any emblems is easy, just use a very thin credit card like device (something thinner then a credit card and can bend) and just keep working it around the edges pushing into middle..after...
