Blinking light for Stereo theft deterrent system?

Page 345 says there should be a blinking read light on the stereo indicating the theft deterrent system. I don't see any blinking light, does anyone or is this just another mistake in the manual? Does the theft deterrent system for the stereo need to be activated or something?

Must be a blinking infraRED lite. I didn't see anything. Turned radio off and armed the alarm and nothing.
