bad suggestion. Being a top heavy truck sway bars do an important job of reducing body roll even at low speeds and especially in any sort of avoidance maneuvers. They're there for a reason, just unhooking them because it's a bit difficult to service them properly isn't the right, or safe, answer

"warped" rotors (a misnomer) have nothing to do with impact wrenches. There are several technical discussions on what really happens to a rotor to make it feel warped but suffice to say its a driving issue and not whether or not someone used an impact wrench to put the lugs back on.

2008 Tahoe LT, 5.3 Flex Fuel engine. Purchased recently with 100k on it. I got a P0446 code and replaced the evap cannister vent solenoid/valve/hose assembly (the one up above the spare tire). The vent end of the hose was full of dirt, suspected that valve was probably the same way...

The dreaded and all-too-common Tahoe power door lock actuator death problem is my guess. The motors in them are doo-doo and they fail. Only solution is to replace the door lock actuator.

Torque converter lockup clutch might be acting up.

Police departments don't turn in vehicles with that low a mileage unless there is some serious problem with them. I'd be very wary of such a vehicle. Also make sure its a 4WD, many of the PPV Tahoes were 2WD. 100k on a Tahoe isn't all that bad, just getting comfortable at that mileage...

You put tires on it with shorter sidewalls, that makes for less rubber to do some of the bump absorbing. If you want the softer ride that you had with the 70 series tires then put them back on Problem solved.........

Curious, I've never seen this sort of service offered before.
