Here's my hitch cover
I have yet to paint it but looks fairly decent despite the dull black. Hopefully I'll get an urge to paint and clear coat the darn thing and I'll be good to go. As for installation and ease of taking it in and out, it takes a little effort to push the pin that originally...
I just bought a set of factory 20s and was wondering if I need to have the dealer reprogram the ECU. I've been reading around and have heard that going from 17s vs 20s can affect ABS and traction control...and that the recommendation is to get it reprogrammed.
I know I can reprogram the new...
Sounds like you just need to renew your service then. I have an 08 LT2 and mine came with XM. I'm assuming the 08 and 07 didn't change in features that much so I'm sure you have XM built in...just need to renew your service. Do you still have Onstar? If so you can either call them from your...
Chances are that being it is an 07 the free 3 month trial has ended and the original owner did not extend the service and/or cancelled before they traded it in or sold it to the dealership. Try haggling the dealership to give/pay for your 3 month trial. Normally when you do have the XM...
That's the first flaw I noticed on vehicle before I made the purchase. I was like why would any engineer with a presumely accredited ABET engineering degree think that was a good idea. You think GM engineers would notice that a loose connection like that is bound to become easily detached...
I had to go to several dealearships to get someone who actually would do this for me. One dealer went so far as to say we would have to do some research and then would be able to install and program for you for $600! I told him to go fly a kite and took it to another dealershep that charged me...
Rain-X works wonders for me especially when's it pouring like madness...and at times I don't even need the wipers. Try that for a start then get some HIDs.
No....well at least my radio does not come on with the remote start. Basically what you would do is have your key and key fob seperate. Remotely start your car, then put in your key. Your radio will come on...and then when your like outside of your car you can change the stations or skip tracks...
Does anyone have the shock sensor addition installed. I had mine installed last week and seem to be having a little trouble getting it to actually alarm when I kick the tires. I've adjusted the sensitivity level but wanted to see if anyone has success with this upgrade. Just thouht I'd throw...
Good luck with the 2-way remote install...That seems to be the cause for many dealers at least around the Dallas/Fort Worth area with not many of the dealerships having installed them before.
I also recommend adding the shock sensor as well since it's at the shop. It's like a $180 upgrade...
Got another call from the shop today stating they still (after 1 day of trying to program the remote) could not the new program to load. Can't wait to get this damn thing installed and over with. Hopefully it'll be worth the trouble of waiting 2 days without having a vehicle to drive around...
I'm getting mine installed at the dealer as we speak but for some reason they seem to be having trouble programming the remote. I dropped it off at 7:30 am this morning and as of 4:16 pm they have not yet finished. Hopefully...wait, they better figure it out by tommorow else I'm taking it...
I was out of town for 2 weeks on business and left my car in the airport parking garage. When I walked towards my car and started it remotely I noticed a loud rumbling sound. It ran for about 30 seconds, sputtered, then just shut off the engine. I then checked under the car to see if somehow...
