    Yukon 08 horn location

I found in an earlier post that the location in an 04 Tahoe is below the headlights. I was wondering if anyone knew if this the same for the 08 Yukon. If that is the case, what does it take the HD's out? Thanks,

    Chilton Style owner's manuals

Does anyone know of owner's manuals for Tahoe and Yukon, that are a bit more detailed than than the manuals that come with our vehicles? Nowadays they are so "go-to-the-dealer-for-this" attitude and the vehicles at times do not lend themselves to find stuff, that its not easy to figure things...

Thank you Tasi for the info. I might just do that too. It sounds like a great advantage for the buyer and makes the seller more honest and competitive. Thanks again,:yesnod:

I just went to the GM site. They are offering a special discount for Armed forces personnel. I have actually calculated the discount is between 8% and 9% below MSRP. I'm thinking I can get better than that on a gas guzzler that's just sitting in a lot with not a customer in the lot. Which is...

That's over $10K below sticker if you consider tax, tag and all other extras. That is an excellent price; I would say. Where was this and did you have to deal a lot to get the price?

    Tahoe LT2 2008

That's just it; what is a fair price? If I offer $10K below sticker, which is only $4K below what GM is letting them sell it for, is that fair? or reasonable?

    Tahoe LT2 2008

The sticker price is $41,9K. What would be a good deal be on something like that. Right now GM is offering $6K for owners of any GM '99 and up, and my wife has a '03 hoe. Anyone know what employee pricing would be? Any ideas would help.:shhh:

Should GM bring back a 2dr model Tahoe?

Rack, that picture brings me back so many memories. I remember in 1979 I owned a Jeep Wagoneer, my buddies had a 2 door K5, a jeep CJ7 and a Range Rover. We would go out on weekends with our wives/girlfriends camping to remote beaches (no asphalt) and find mud swamps along the way. Challenge...

    WTH another UAW strike!!

I come from a Chevy family, but I have owned Benz, Fords, Hondas, Mazdas and once I had a company Suzuki Samurai. Of all, the Benz has been the most unreliable vehicle I have ever owned or driven, and believe it or not the most reliable is the '03 Tahoe we still own now. That is why I'm...

    Key FOB question

When replacing the battery in the key FOB , the owner's manual explains that the transmitter needs to be resyncchrinized. Does anyone know what that involves?:mpr: I'm fixin to change the batteries on both units of my '03 Hoe and thought it would be wise to check the manual before...

    Oredered an 08 Tonight

Gotcha, I guess we are fortunate in South Florida. The majority of SUv's are 2wd, and even though most come with all the bells and whistles, you can find what you are looking for. Sometimes some wheelin'n'dealin can get more than what you wanted for less.

    Oredered an 08 Tonight

Is there a specific reason you ordered it instead of picking one from the lot? I always thought you could get a better deal by picking what is present at the dealership; unless of course there is something you cannot live without, and the dealer doe not have. Congtatulations on your purchase!!!!

    General Information

It just 2 of us, me and the wife, and we don't really take a lot of people with us. So the 2nd row bucket appeals big time, they are more comfortable and looks realy cool, but I want to cover all the bases, with you guys' opinions. As far as the GPS, if chevy updates the maps once a year, that...

    General Information

I'm sorry to hear you drive the UGLY Denaly ( - :), sorry just kiddin'). Let me ask you: do you have 2nd row buckets? I seem to be inclined to them, but I'm not sure if they become impractical as far as passenger space goes.
