I think it depends if you have a locking differential or not. I believe mine said to use the additive, but since I used royal purple which already had the additive in it I didn't have to buy anything extra.

damn, I don't think I've gotten better than 12 since I've had mine, even with mostly highway driving.

I have a magnaflow cat back on my 99. sounds good, deep & melow, not very loud. but when I tow, the droning is annoying. if you don't tow, this would be a great setup.
