I just bought an 01 Tahoe LT. It has 190k miles on it but in amazing condition. Anyway. I have owned 2 other tahoes in the past. When slowing down to stop, I hear a whining noise. It only seems to be loud enough to hear when slowing down at around 15 mph and lower. Anyone know what this could be??

Check your u-joints. Or for grease around diff seals. When I bought my Tahoe found out the hard way the pinion seal blew. My diff had a cup of gunk rather than oil and pulled a new rear end from a junk yard on sale for $100 But a local tranny shop said I needed a rebuild. Check the little things first!
