04' Tahoe (upgraded Bose) doesn't work when cold?

Hello, I'm very stumped cant figure out why the radio doesn't work when cold outside. We think it may have started when the truck got washed in the cold, but not sure on that. Ay help would be great thank you for reply!

By the way it is a single disc/ tape player, and it does come on when it warms up.

I just bought an 03, and it does the exact same thing. I thought it to be a bit odd...
