07 Steering wheel switch covers

Have an 07 Tahoe.

The plastic bezel around the buttons on the steering wheel is losing its coating.

Thinking of covering it in a thin leather, but I cannot find any screws holding it in the back of the wheel.

Anyone know how to get it off?

Not necessarily leather, but I was thinking the same thing. There are supposedly bolts holding it down. Will have to investigate...

Might check what's on the 2010s as it matches the brushed dash trim. Looks like it snaps on.
