Just bought an 07 Tahoe in February. Recently had to replace the battery because it was shot but had to put in a smaller battery for a few days. While running the smaller battery the check engine light came on and the stabilitrack light. It also says to service the stabilitrack. Replaced the small battery with the correct size battery and that didn't help! Thought it may have been because the battery was too small to run everything correctly.
Any ideas on what this problem might be? Ran an engine diagnostics and came up with a random misfire (P0300) and a cylinder 4 misfire (P0304). Also an ABS code. Changed out all the spark plugs but the same codes keep coming up. It also has a jerk while Accelerating and shifting between first and second. But it runs relatively smooth otherwise just slow Acceleration. Also a very strong gas odor coming from the exhaust. No catalytic converter code has come up though. Any ideas would be great! Don't really have the money to put it in the shop right now.
