2001 Tahoe -- Removing Factory Radio/CD

G'day. Am trying to replace the factory radio/cd player with new after market player. Viewed video talking about three screws which hold radio into dash (after removing the dash trim. Feeling really stupid but don't see the screws and don't see anything else to release to remove original radio. Help me Obi-Won. You're my only hope! Steve

Here's a link to the 3 screw style you speak of. If yours doesn't have the screws then you most likely have the key type security tabs. No big deal. Use either smaller flat tip screw drivers to push the tabs out, go to AutoZone or O'Reilly for the key tool $8.00 & don't forget the pigtail adapters for the stock wiring to the updated head unit & double check you don't need an antenna adapter while your there.
