2006 Tahoe Radio / Chimes

When playing the radio, the drivers door speaker is not working, all other speakers are working. The warning chime is only working in the passengers door speaker behind the driver. Have you any ideas of how to troubleshoot this problem?

Wonder if it could be as simple as a speaker wire broken? If I'm understanding the problem correctly that is. I would take a multimeter and test from the speaker to the wiring harness going in to the head unit.

Thanks for replying, Grant. That was my first thought, but I am puzzled on why three speakers are working for the radio and only one speaker works for the chimes.

I'm guessing you have an aftermarket stereo in now? If so, maybe you have a junkie bypass that came with the new wires. Or maybe the connection isn't very secure.
