I did not get XM Radio as an option when I purchased my truck. It was painfull finding the GM part (17801150) to upgrade the factory XM ready radio. I had to find one on my own because every dealer in my area was out and the backlog is until April at the earliest. I may have to have someone like Best Buy or Ultimate Electronics install it because dealerships tell it could be weeks before they can schedule me all the way to a dealership telling me that the laber to install the kit will be $400. Sounds like they don't want to deal with it especially since they open themselves to liability issues when drilling thru the roof / headliner, etc.. Has anyone had a problem getting a dealership to reprogram the radio after someone else installed the XM Radio?
