I have finally convinced my sister to get rid of her minivan for a Tahoe:clapping: We have found a used FULLY LOADED '07 Z71 Tahoe that she really likes, but I do not know how much they MSRP'd for new. Does anyone know? I've found the MSRP for a LTZ, but the Z71 has been a little more difficult. Thanks for any help!

Did you try the chevy website? Although it'll be 2008 prices, at least you can get a comparison.

I did. It was kind of hard to build one and get an MSRP. I did however search the inventory of some local dealers and found several '08 Z71's and the most I found one was for $51,XXX.

MSRP

I just bought a 2007 Z71 4x4 LT2....I think the only options were 3rd row, and side airbags...MSRP was approx $44k and some change. Invoice on it was $41k and some change. I have the sticker at home...will look later and post the specifics.

Looked at an 08 Z71 last night and the full sticker was $51,400 . Actually cheaper than the 08 LTZ they had on the lot, it was $53,000 . I thought the Z71 was the LTZ with skid plates and upgraded suspension. Interior looks identical. Should the Z71 not be more?

The Z71 "package" is a standalone ($1,795) option that you can add onto an LT2 or LT3 equipped Tahoe. You cannot add a Z71 package onto an LTZ. I am not sure what the difference is between a fully optioned LT3 vs. an LTZ...but I would have to think they would be similar...though they must have some sort of difference otherwise there would be no reason for an LTZ other than the badge. That said, I know my Z71 w/LT2 package cost MUCH less than a stand alone LTZ.

LTZ has autoride suspension and all the little power options standard (rainsense wipers, power liftgate, etc. etc. etc.) and the 20's whereas the Z71 has to have all the little options added "a la carte" (just as with any other LT2/LT3) and has the offroad suspension in lieu of autoride. those are the basic differences as far as i know - a loaded up Z71 will be close to but not quite as expensive as a comparably loaded LTZ, from what i've seen.

Man I guess I was lucky. I got one of the first LTZs in Oklahoma back in December of 2005(took delivery in feb 06) for invoice $44,800. No way I could get that now.
