97 tahoe sport brake job

i have a 97 tahoe 4wd sport im rying to do break job but im not sure if i have a 4 wheel disk brake or if 2 drums n its been too cold for me to do the cheak so any help with that be nice thxx

You have shoes on the rear.

Unless someone has done a conversion you have drums on the back, and those rarely need to be replaced, and you should probably keep them as drums if you ever plan to use a trailer


The fronts differ, but on my 4wd I just replaced the stock rotors (which where the 2 piece style that warp) with some single-construction delcos and ceramic pads, stops like a dream for such a big truck
