1998 Tahoe LT. Please view/listen to video. Brake pedal very soft, then a new “mooing†noise once near bottom. Slight stuttering while trying to stop. The car does have ABS. Also the rear brake pads were replaced just last week by a mechanic. Any help?

Thanks in advance.

Randy

This is a really old post but just in case anyone "new" is looking for a cause and solution....
It's the abs kicking in. One of the wheel speed sensors is out of range and needs to be replaced. Until you figure out which one is bad just pull the abs fuse under the hood. The abs light will come and stay on but no more "soft pedal and mooing noise"
