Aftermarket intake system?

Hey guys. Very new to the tahoe and LS motors in general. Wondering what your opinions are on intake systems? Are they worth it, or a waste of money, notice any benefits/gains?

Suggestions on good ones you guys like?

Love mine! Added a water screen 4" below filter, as I live in CO and did not like water splashing into filter.

Could you explain what are you talking about a water screen below your filter? Is this home made or aftermarket?

I'm guessing he added some length around the the air intake point so the air that splashes under the hood would net get the filter wet. Slowing down help stop that...lol
