I need some sort of cargo/luggage carrier for the roof of my '08 Tahoe for trips to the beach this year. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

We've got a Thule cargo box mounted on the factory cross bars that we use for trips. It's been up to Atlanta and Maryland many times, works great. Thule also has open cargo racks if you'd rather have that. Also seen Yakima products that people use and like.
