Last summer I noticed some weirdness with my AC controls on my 2002 Z71. During a very hot summer day, I started to feel hot air coming from the vents instead of cold. I shutoff the Ac and turned it back on and it was fine. The next time it happened, the off/on trick didn't work. I had to change the temp control level to very hot and then back to cold and it worked. This winter while the heater was on i stared to feel cold air coming out. I tried both tricks above and it didn't work. In order for it to blow hot air, I needed to turn the temp control all the way to the right on very hot. Even one click to the left it blows cold air.
One thing to note is that these issues are very intermittent but are getting to be very annoying since they only happen when I really need the AC or heater.
