I have a 96 tahoe and last night everytime I shut my truck off the clock would reset to 1:00 - then it did it again on my way to work with out my truck shutting off... Any ideas?

mine would do that when the battery started to go. not enough voltage to maintain the clock. got slow to start too.

yeah mine's slow to start as well and my bat is around 9 instead of 14 like of usual, guess it's time for a new bat. Thanks :)

i used to be a diehard (no pun intended) Optima battery guy myself. I have recently switched to Sears Platinum Plus batteries. Better cranking amps and better warranty and is still a gel-mat design.

just FYI in case you are looking into a high end battery. Cost is similar or even a tad cheaper than Optima's.
