Lost Cruise control operation but LED on cruise button on stering wheel was still working. Check to see that center LED brake light bar is working. If not, unplug brake switch connector behind the brake pedal and remove the brake switch by lifting and sliding clip off pedal shaft. Spray lots of contact cleaner (availble at Auto Zone and other retailers) in crack around white button pressure plate. Re-install switch and verify 3rd. light is now working. Should resolve your CC issue. A new switch may also be required if contact cleaner does not work or causes intermittent operation.
