Double Din Car tv...

I have a 96 Tahoe and Amazon say's a double din Monitor wont fit in the radio's place.. Is this true or not? My stock radio looks to be about the same size but i've only seen these radio's on the net.

No it won't fit the opening is just a bit to small you can cut the face of the dash panel to make it fit but most of the time it doesn't end up looking that great also I know a few guys that did it and some double dins are deeper than others and they end up sticking out your best bet if you want the whole touch screen DVD deal is to go with a single din with a flip out monitor

damn, thanks. i wanted it to look stock. i'm trying to make all my mods look like factory and so far i'm getting screwed left and right
