After reading about how others were installing DTV in their trucks, I decided that I wanted to do it also. I am using an inverter to power the converter box. I hard wired the inverter to get max power out of it. I bought a fairly cheap DTV antenna and have it mounted to my sub box. The picture quality is very good as long as the truck isn't moving. I will have to buy and install a hum bucker to get rid of a little hum that comes up in the video. But so far I love it.

Converter mounted in the rear of console.

Inverter is partially hid by front console.

Antenna mounted using velcro to sub box.

How is the quality while in motion?

I'm interested in doing this too but haven't found a mobile DTV tuner yet.

The picture breaks up when in motion. I believe this is a problem with mobile TV or at least I haven't found a solution.

Thanks RT, I try to make everything as neat as possible.
