Headlight question

I keep hearing people talking about Projector Headlights, and HID's, and Xenons & all that stuff. Well, I don't really know the difference between any of them. I tried searching for it, but all I found were threads talking about which one looked better.

So, could someone tell me what the difference is?

Essentially, halogen and HID xenon are two different light sources for headlamps. Projector headlamps and reflector headlamps are two different optical systems of headlamp.
