If someone could lend another opinion, I would appreciate it very much. I have a clunk on 04 tahoe, 2wd. Only happens when turning. Doesn't happen all the time,.
Have replaced shocks, replaced sway bar bushings and greased the new ones. No whining or other rear end noise when driving. Sound almost sounds like something sliding from one end to another, (like a metal bar sliding).
I have looked everywhere under for something loose etc.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Does it matter which way you're turning? Does it happen if you're on a loose surface like gravel?

I'm new to Tahoes so I'm not sure about the various differentials but maybe you have a locking diff that is acting up?
