Hello,

I was looking around and some people on hear seem to be recommending the Luminics for a "HID" look but without the extra expense and wiring. Anyone have some night shots or testimonials? Also will the krypton bulbs fit in the stock housing? it says they are 30% fatter than the standard bulb. They are also recommending a wire harness adapter. Is that really necessary?

Thanks

I have used Luminics in the past and I liked them but now I have 6000k HIDs and I love them. I still do have Luminics Xtreme White High beams though.
I suggest them if you don't feel like doing HIDs but I feel HIDs are more bang for the buck.
And yeah the Krypton bulbs are brighter, fatter and even sometimes more color, they're high wattage so you MUST have some heavy duty harnesses or they'll melt your stock wiring.

Looking at luminics bulb (which is really just a bulb with blue paint, which will be worse ) Its still 55W which is what our bulbs are stock. I see no reason for the heavy duty harness. IF you went 100w bulbs then definatly. :)

RT Luminics bulbs actally have dyed glass and not paint, which means you can't just scrape them off.
But like RT said if they're 55W you wont need harnesses
