Need Bigger Breaks

Just put on some 24"x10 with 305/35r24 Kumho Stx. I have no noticed that it wants to drift sometimes when I hit the brakes harder than usual. Any suggestions besides the $3k Brembo upgrade?

The SSBC kit is a great upgrade with 15" rotors and four-piston fixed calipers for under $3K. The kit I have on mine made a HUGE difference. Check out their site. Their prices are high on the site, but you can find the kits cheaper elsewhere on-line.

If your looking for a cheaper set up there are ways to go. Cheapest for better stopping. Upgrade just rotor to cross drilled or slotted. Several different patterns. This will dissipate heat better even with same size brake pads and increase stopping power. More expensive upgrade to a larger rotor along with cross drilled or slotted and go to atleast a 2 piston caliper. Another idea that i did to mine was change out the drum set up in the back for discs and bought cross drilled rotors for both front and back.

where did you get the brackets for your rear discs? i've heard several rumors theres a bracket and you use cadillac rotors and calipers on the rear.

http://www.tsmmfg.com/General_Motors_truck_rear_axles.htm They hooked me up. It was basically the same as the suburban model. I dont know anything about cadillac rotors and calipers though. I bought a new set of cross drilled 10"
