Hi,

i have a tahoe 07 and the last owner has changed the radio to the Panasonic and switched also the amp, it was the LT with bose but, he changed everything and the sound is good, but i miss the warning chimes in the car, is there anyway to bring the chimes back with this non factory amp?

Cheers.

To have the chimes, on-star and steering wheel controls active you need to install a module that allows the aftermarket unit to communicate with the vehicle. You can purchase them from Sonic or Crutchfield as well as other aftermarket dealers. Typically this is done to also maintain the Bose amp, if do not wish to use the amp that may complicate things, I would call a tech at Crutchfield and discuss it with them. I have an aftermarket unit installed with the adapter module and everything works great.
