Hello,
My parking brake on my 2004 Tahoe does not return when I pull the release lever.
The parking brakes still work, and I can pull the release lever and pull the brake pedal up, and the brake release.
I have removed the pedal assembly, and can verify that it moves freely. However, I'm not sure if the pedal should return when I release it when it is outside of the vehicle.
As far as i can tell, all of the clock springs and what not are intact and in place. Not sure where to go next to try and fix this thing... :\
Any ideas/comments appreciated.
Thanks,
Cartman
