I am trying to make up my mind about if i should put 24's or 22's on my 07 tahoe. i heard some people say that if they put 24's the rub really bad is this true and should i just put 22's pr if i put 295 35 24 size of tires on 24's should it be fine?

If your even considering 24's i would just do it, because if you get the 22's youre just going to want the 4's later on down the line.

I like the way 24's look way better dont get me wrong my question is the rubbing, is there going to be any major rubbing on 24's that i should be concerned about? instead of 22's

I just recently put some 24" rims on my Tahoe, then wrapped them with Falken 295/35/R24 there is absolutely no rubbing what so ever.

Its just a guess, but I think most people want to keep the comfort and ride handling of a stock suspension setup/travel and also want a nice look. W/ 22s/24s you can get both while not sacrificing your suspension/ride/comfort and feel.

Again, I am just guessing from what I have read.

Whatever happened to a nice 3-4" drop on 20" wheels?

All depends on what look you're into. I personally did not go with 24's because I think the smaller tires look very unproportional on such a large vehicle.

I went with 22's and a slightly more agressive "all terrain" tire because I want my SUV to look like just that... an SUV and I use it as such, not just to drive to the mall.

Pics are in the link in my sig below.

I have 24"s I think I may go to 26 later on, but 24s will NOT rub... I'm going to get an older model tahoe for my off roading and fun...

I'd prefer to get the 22s cause there are just too many damn bumps and potholes here in Chicago, so that extra cushion from the tires is needed...:D

I have a friend that has a '04 Denali with 24s and it looks good but he said the ride is a bit rough! This is what I want to avoid!
