I started driving back in 02 and it usually cost me 20-25$ to fill up my Camaro.

1986, and it was between .89 and .99. Wasn't over a buck. Got my first car in 1987 (76 Grand Prix), and there was a leak in the gas tank at the seam between the top and bottom half of the tank. I could never put more than $10 in it, which was half a tank. When I move to Geaorgia in May of 2004, it was only $1.57. Just last night I passed a station for $1.93.
