where's a good place to buy new/rebuild transmission for 2008 5.3ltz

i'm from outside the US and my automatic transmission just died.
ordering from a local GE would be a pain in the neck and a hole in the pocket since they charge all they want. it's cheaper to ship from the states.
i wanted to get your advice where in the states i could buy a preferably new AT (i can't seem to find new parts on the web for some reason, no matter how i search). or a less preferable option - where's a good place to buy a rebuilt AT.

A rebuilt one in the states will run anywhere from $1850-2100 or so depending on where you order it from, plus an added core charge of $700 that is refundable upon return of your old transmission. That is with what is now a 300K mile warranty. I am not sure about warranty coverage outside the US so I would have to double check that.
