Walking out to the truck the other evening at the grocery store. It was 96 degrees. Lady pulled up next to the Yukon in a Navigator and checked out the interior of the Yukon as she got out, I hit the remote start and fired up the truck and the AC. She kinda jumped.

Then as she went around the back of the truck to go into the store I hit the remote hatch and walked up to the truck. She stops and watches the whole deal and then I hit the door button and it closed as I put the grocery cart in the rack.

She comes over and asks all sorts of questions... I think she's trading her Navigator.

I never thought I'd use these features but they are mondo cool.

I like that you can tap the turn signal indicator once and the signal blinks 3 times. I haven't had that feature on a car before. Oh, and the rumble of the 6.2. I love how it sounds.

Too funny! I love the blinker tap feature to. It's hard to believe it's the small things in life that give us such joy. I had a Mercedes that had that feature and I always hoped I would get it on a future car. Touche!! Oh and the remote start is also pretty cool.

The blinker tap is cool. The stereo staying on until I open the door is cool. I love the overkill of info available in the DIC and even my usually couldn't care less wife went slack-jawed when we were playing with hands-free calling... Not only did the radio mute, but the AC fan quieted itself, as well.

'Nuther nifty feature is the fact that you can't grind the starter if you try and restart the vehicle. My wife will love that. I will love that she loves that.

The calling through the OnStar reminds me of why GM most likley does not put Blue tooth support in their cars. It would cut into their OnStar sales if everyone could just use their blue tooth.

In Tow Mode, you get six flashes on the turn signals.

I like the sound of the GM CAI and cat-back perf. exhaust. :cool2:

So it is not my imagination that my 2007 Z71 exhaust has that kind of "growl"?

I too enjoy the feature of remote start with the A/C in the summer, but when I first bought it (Feb '07) it was cold and snowy in the Chicago area. I would walk into the reception area and point the remote at it, let it warm up and finish things up and head home in a nice warm truck! Those heated seats are loved by me and the wife as well. Can actually get too toasty on my buns - lol.

That power liftgate is great too! Many times it has come in handy and many people have asked about it.

Seen a lot of new Tahoes but not a second White Z71 yet, even in the Chicago area. Lots and lots of black Tahoes but few Z71s.

Coming from a '97 Tahoe LT to an '07 Z71 Tahoe is a BIG difference - everyday I just smile and enjoy it. Only drawback, is having to wash it over and over again because white gets dirty quick. But I am enjoying bonding with it. As I have stated before in this forum, my wife says I spend more time with my mew truck than her. :giggling:

Yes, but like grillmaster stated, you should hear the 6.2 in the Denali! Now it sounds AWESOME!!!!!

I also like the power liftgate and remote start. Something I think is really cool, especially if traveling is that if you have the Navigation radio, when you get low on gas, it pulls up the nearest gas stations! Really nice if you are out of town in an unfamilier area!

Prior to the Tahoe I had driven the same vehicle for 10 years so my list of cool features is long and distinguished! LOL

That is one of the reasons I want a Z71 as there aren't that many of them compared tho the production of other models.
