Have any of you guys tried or successfully put second gen seats in our body style? Reason I'm asking is mine are somewhat worn (10 year old leather) and I found a set on craigslist front and rear for 300$! I can always weld the bracket to the housing, but just wondering if its a direct drop in...

Hey guys, I have pretty bad oxidation on the hood, everywhere else on the truck is good, anyone have any tips before I sand this badboy down and take it in to be painted?? Theres a little oxidation on the roof, but after 9inches of lift not many people can see up there >=]

Yeah I agree with Procomp, after my lift (9inch) and 36s, it was reduced significantally, however after getting lower gearing (run about 1800rpm at 65mph) and driving better I'm pushing around 12-14 :)

Thanks guys, may have to get mine checked out, it runs about 160 - 220/230 and it'll jump while going down the highway, idling its usually fine. May start with replacing the theromstat and go from there.

Guys, just out of curiosity.. on a summer day, where does your temperature normally run? Reason I'm asking, mine fluctuates quite a bit, (coolant levels are good) just dont want to start diagnosing anything if this is normal. thanks! -andrew

Yeah I agree with 96 pro comp, my tahoe has the 6inch fabtech, and its decent, but my buddy (who encouraged me to buy the tahoe) has the procomp, and we both have 3inch body lifts as well, but his rides somewhat better, feel more in control. For the money I would definitley go with pro comp. I...
