Thats how mine fits as well, but I don't feel its loose around the TB. I made sure to tighten the clamp a lot and gave it a slight tug to make sure it won't just pop off. Hope that helps.

When I hit the recycle/recirculate air button, the air conditioner seems to turn on. Also, when recycle air is off, I get a stale burnt odor from the coming out of vent. This is on an '07 Denali. I'd like to hear opinons on what the probable causes might be.

My front windshield defog is horrible. I'll have the temp set on 68* and it still blows out warm/hot air on the drivers side. Passenger side blows out cold air. Anyone else with this problem? Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.

The power core filter is suppose to be good up to 100K miles. It's also does not use oil on the filter so thats probably better for the MAF sensor. Price difference if you order the entire kit is about $35 - $45 bucks.

What's gas prices by you? I'm paying ~$3.30 for regular and ~$3.50 for premium. A couple of weeks ago it was about 15cents higher.:wow:

Just got my Volant intake system today. Did you received step by step directions or just a schematic? Also, the metal plate that hell up the old air box, do you removed that completely to fit the Volant in? I had to take it off. Hope that wasn't a no-no.:nono:

Getwired, no worries about a long post. More info the better. So if I'm reading your post correctly, after you installed the Volant only, you saw ~1.1mpg gain and then further mods as well as driving like grandpa yielded more mpg gains? Its really tough to drive under 65 with this truck...
