You bought a higher mileage truck. Things going wrong is to be expected. I'm not sure how much you paid, but fixing things on a higher mileage truck just comes along with the territory.

I use Meguires Swirl Remover 2.0. Great for light top coat swirls.

This happens everytime I detail. I use back to black and even Turtle wax liquid ICE works GREAT. I only use the liquid ice on the rubber and plastiv mouldings...it works wonders.

Try changing the relay under the dash. If that doesn't do it, you have the infamous steering cloumn problem. Something in the steering column has to be replaced and from what I've heard other people say, it's over $300. I had the same problem but believe it or not, it went away. I have not...

Just might want to check, but if you just bought it....that would technically be considered 2009 and not claimable until the 2009 tax year.....if I recall correctly.

Comparable ones in my area are going for the high $20's. That would be a steal around here!

I have 2 big Japanese Akitas and I thought they would jump over the seats but the shade roll in the back does a good job of keeping them from doing that. Did you try the dogs out in the back yet? You might find out that you really don't need anything to keep them back there.

Thanks! I was thinking along the lines of something having to do with the drive shaft, but I was hoping not. Tires aren't out of round....had that checked as well since we did have one out of round that was brand new...... I'll check the u joints as well.

Ok, I have a 1996 Tahoe LS with 210,000 miles on her. I'm getting a decent amount of vibration felt throughout the whole truck between 60-72 mph. Thought it could have been the tires needed balancing so had them balanced. All four were off balance and fixed, but the vibration is still there...

I swear GM puts some weird film on the windshields which doesn't wear off for YEARS. My cobalt, tahoe, GTO, my moms Monte....all the same "haze" type problem....lol
