Hi , I remember reading somewhere about the "new" icm's being poorly made and it being a crap shoot as far as getting one that will work for a reasonable amount of time. Any news on this?? I had to install my used spare this weekend and would like to have a spare on hand. Thanks

I hope so. I have this same problem with my 94. Sounds like the gear is not meshing/stripped.

Hi all. My distributor is junk ,94 Yukon , started running like crap. Pulled dizzy and was going to take it apart and found out the pole piece would turn independently from the shaft. Anyway , I was going to just get one from a parts store but a lot of the reviews say they are junk , icm goes...

A/C is not working ,1994 Yukon. High side hose gets hot ,low side gets warm. The r134 I am using comes with a gauge and is in the 'green' zone @ 50 psi when filling (almost max). Hooking up my manifold set gets me 48-65 not cycling/cycling and the high side gets me 50-70 psi not cycling/cycling...

Hey all. I want to check my timing as I just got done changing the intake manifold gasket. In my manual it says to 'disengage the timing connector' ,what/where is this? Is it one of the two connectors coming out the side of my distributor? This is for a 94 5.7 Yukon. If I am a tooth off...

Rear defogger operational! Putzing in the garage ,I decided to take old ones apart (broke anyway) ,the ball ends (mounts) screw off. Pretty dirty ,overall bad connection. Cleaned them and removed some paint from "bottom" ,put on some dielectric grease ,pinched the clips a little tighter and poof...

All my other trucks had the sticker. None on this one.

Hi all. 94 Yukon ,automatic , can I shift to 4 wheel on the fly and what is top speed in 4 wheel. Have a manual floor shifter. Just need to know between 4 hi and 2 hi. Thanks

In 96 did they have any crank/cam sensors? I had a 96 pick up ,fuel pump was wired through the oil pressure switch ,no pressure ,no start. Just a thought....
