Unfortunatley that is GM's idea of special order paint. There was a RED (not sport red) pic around last year. When you get the special order paint they don't paint the bumpers, mirrors, side trim or pillars.
I thought though, that a GM insider said that they were going to paint them all...
Rail dust is usually the culpret. It is micro pieces of metal inbedded in paint. Clay bar your vehicle and it will remove these and other contaminents.
Have them check to ensure that you have the battery rundown update installed.
The pump was one issue but there was a reprogram to address the battery rundown.

I didn't realize the Yukon had the window sills. the Eskys window sills will not fit due to a shape change for rear window. Plus you need to get the mirrors too to for it all to align.
The rear will fit but you can buy a chrome strip for around $15. Much cheaper than the three piece...
I would be concerned about your lug nut torque. They need to be torqued to spec with the aluminum rims. Who does your rotation or do you have aftermarket rims? Either way sounds like they weren't put on right.
No Offense, I was just hoping people had seen the other option.
If you find the right pin it sits pretty darn flush. I could not see the "caps" on top unless I was standing on a slanted drive or something. I knew they were there so they would catch my eye once in awhile. Not sure if...
Did you check my thread from above? The holes are way easier to cover than adding a LARGE chunk of black plastic.
The pins I suggested are cheap and will more than cover holes. You can also paint them very easily if you really want to conceal the holes.
That's what I'm talking about. Take a look at ours. Our mirror bottom is pretty tight to side of veh. The Esky's stick out to meet the much thicker trim. Some may not care but it does look incomplete. Painting the existing will look just as good and probably cost less in the end.
I removed mine to paint the existing parts. I didn't look down in, but isn't the hole enclosed at the bottom?
Instead of the stainless plugs you can buy the push pins for door panels and paint the heads to match body color. You would just need to put silicone on pin as you insert it...
You can pop the top and switch it but there are other areas painted on the Esky mirrors. You should be okay because the set you bought was black but others should be careful or you will end up painting.
The other issue with putting those on is the outer window trim is needed to integrate...
The esky tails are not plug and play. There are instructions for the modifications needed here

I did this last year and have over $480 in it and several hours of labor
But you probably should just do the K3s instead...cheaper and easier and look...
They just had a set (sold seperately but with buy it now) Search using tahoe and then weed through the excess. Alot of times they don't list them a caddys for some reason.
None today though
The other solution is what they had on the 98 Blazer. A partial back window. The rear part was stationary and the front rolled all the way down. Ton of work though!!!
Did you try ironing over a damp cloth on the area once the sticker was gone. You can continue to iron and then "roll" the residue off.
Just keep it warm and moist. But isn't that always the trick;)
They way it was done with Dodges was to put a damp cloth over them and run an iron over. It soften the glue due to heat and moisture. They lifted off and there was no residue. ( I had an 03 Ram) I haven't tried it with the Tahoe.
Found the thread...

Just his post with his opinion
If you plan on driving the Tahoe until the wheels fall off then here’s the skinny:
Always use a good quality oil filter, AC Delco are decent, the $10 synthetic media filters are...
As I stated, it was from a GM insider. He related what I was passing on to you. To each his. Just about everything is opinion.
Again though, is the difference in the number of oil changes really that big of a deal. I put $80 in the tank once a week. Does a $45 oil change every third...
