01 LT Hoe, intermittent speaker sound

Has anyone ran into an issue where the sound intermittently cuts off from the rear? It sounds like a CD skipping; funny I know but annoying.

Is it a wiring issue with the speakers and possible ONstar?

Could be factory amp going bad..
is it all stock? radio, speakers, ect..

Yes everything is stock. It has not occurred the past few days, but you may be right. I googled and saw some entries about OnStar and I'm looking into "disabling" that function.
