1999 Tahoe 2 door 2 wheel drive info

I'm looking for information on the 2 wheel drive Tahoe, a 1999 version. Did the 1999 Tahoes come with rear dics brakes? I'm assuming the 2 wheel drive Tahoes machanics are the same as the 2wd trucks. Did Chevy make a sport version, something like an " SS " ? Thanks for any help.

No 1999 tahoe had rear disc brakes but they can be converted from drum's. Yes GM did make a ss tahoe which i believe did come with rear disc brakes it was called the 1999-2000 Tahoe Limited(ss)/z71(off road pkg)!
