I want to pull my front drive shaft for my 1999 2dr sport 4X4 this weekend. i have gotten under the truck a bunch of times looking at it and I have tried to do Research on line with little help. my front drive shaft appears to have 2 U-joints, one at one end one at the other, and a ball centering unit at the transfer case. There is also a rubber boot covering the slip yolk at the transfer case end. I was hoping for some info on how to pull the drive shaft without damaging the boot and how to replace or repair the ball ball centering unit (i have done the rear U-joints twice so far so i know how to do that part). Also could someone post a picture of their 1999 Tahoe front drive shaft so I'm sure i have the origional one?
