2 Weeks Till SOME UPGRADE TIME!

So I'm swapping out my stock heads (due to a bad valve) for a set of Port n Polished heads. While I am breaking down the motor as budget does permit to a full time college working student I am also going to install a Helix TB Spacer. My plan was also to install a modified Intake Manifold but NONE exist for our trucks. Now its time to bust of the whiz wheel. I've never ported anything before besides girls, and i've found a few good "how toos" but any personal experience? Should I leabe it smooth OR ROUGH?

Is there anything else I shoud do besides some cleaning and painting while the top of the motor is apart?
