Anyone else have this problem? The driver side door handle housing broke. I can still open and close door, but the front part that attaches to the door has broke loose. It's still under warranty, but wonder if anyone else has experienced this and hate to go to all the trouble to take it to the dealer just to get it fixed (but I will eventually)....I will probably wait until November to take it in and get it fixed for the recall of the heated windsheild wiper in November.

Yep, just dropped the 08 LTZ off today for drivers door and some other items. Call your dealer and let them know and see if they will start looking for one for you. It is my understanding that due to all of the failures they are sometimes hard to get. They did a "SPAT" case of something like that on mine and had one in a week.
A freinds Denali had one break also.
