I have a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe LT. I've been having issues with the rear power lift gate. It opens automatically with no problems (except there is knock sound coming from motor after the door has fully opened) but it will not close automatically using the switch on the bottom of the gate or the fob. Makes click sounds from latch but no movements at all when I try these methods. I have to close it manually. I replaced a new latch motor hoping it would be a cheap and easy fix, but it didn't help. If someone out there could help me figure this out, I'd be most appreciative. Thanks
Note: power liftgate closes automatically only when i press any switch before it opens fully. When it opens to the end, it will not close automatically.
