97 tahoe rear seat

Hello wondering if anyone could help. The 60 40 rear seats. I put both down to haul some stuff. Now the 60 side went back up and clicked into place but can't get the 40 side to click back it's like something is holding it from going all the way back in place. I'm confused. anyone? thanks in advance

check the hinges, check the release pull to make shure it isnt jammed...

still can't get that damn thing back. it seems like it is locked somewhere. thanks anyway.

As before stated, check the latch. Take a flaslight and raise the seat where you can look @ the latch, I think you will find the cable is not working, JMHO good luck.

Cable on my Drivers rear pass seat is broken also, have to use some needle nose pliars to get mine pulled.....
