Just picked up a new to me 1995 Tahoe with 205k.
Example scenario: Coming to a stop at a light, 100% dry pavement, about 5mph mark.
If I brake early and apply light pressure, ABS does NOT kick in.
If I brake late and apply heavy pressure, ABS does NOT kick in.
If I brake at medium/normal pressure, ABS does kick in a few clicks.
I was told that the front wheel bearings had been replaced. Looking at Chilton manual online, I didn't see anything ABS related in the removal/installation process, but they only had 2WD listed.
Is there a difference when doing them on a 4x4 and or is it possible to just replace a sensor? Unfortunately the online manual only has text descriptions and no pictures!
