AC/heater

I've read some threads and can't find any that address this problem. I have an 04 Hoe that we can be driving with the AC on (it has dual control, driver/passenger) with the driver side set at say 74, the all of a sudden it will be blowing out scalding hot air. The passenger side is still blowing out ice cold. WTH ??? Anyone ever have this happen or any ideas ??? Thanks...Dave

had the same thing happen to me the other day. Probably one of the temp actuators defaulted out for a few minutes. mine started blowing cold again after @ 20 mins.

i had a '05 Z71 that was doing the same thing. took it to the dealer and they had to reprogram the control unit..
